2020 Memberships were rolled over to 2022
By default, all AnimeNEXT 2020 Memberships were rolled over to AnimeNEXT 2022, meaning you do not need to pre-register in Tixr.
Eventbrite will automatically re-send your AnimeNEXT 2020 confirmation. You will need to bring your AnimeNEXT 2020 confirmation and meet the check-in requirements. Deferred memberships will not be shipped, you will need to pick them up at our on-site Registration Booths. You can read more information about our on-site check-in & badge pickup processes here.
Due to limitations imposed by the Eventbrite system, we are unable to change, edit, or refund any memberships originally purchased for 2020 at this time. Should you need assistance with any of these you can reach out to Eventbrite Support here.
2020 VIP Packages
If your AnimeNEXT 2020 VIP Membership Package was deferred, you will receive the AnimeNEXT 2022 VIP Membership Package. You can read more information on our VIP Membership Packages here.
Contest Winners or Complimentary Memberships
All complementary Memberships including those received from a tournament, contest, giveaway, etc that were valid for AnimeNEXT 2020 and were redeemed through Eventbrite, please see the first section of this support article.
If you did not redeem your Membership through Eventbrite, you will have until June 1st, 2022 to redeem your code on Eventbrite. If you do not redeem your Membership by this date it will be forfeited.
AnimeNEXT Merch Shop Coupon
All AnimeNEXT 2020 Memberships, purchased after December 31st, 2019 costing more than $60.00 will receive a coupon to the AnimeNEXT Merchandise Shop. Your coupon will be provided to you during your on-site check-in and is redeemable in the Vendor Hall at the AnimeNEXT Booth. Complimentary Memberships do not receive an AnimeNEXT Merch Shop Coupon.

AnimeNEXT COVID-19 Deferrals
We understand that not everyone may be able to meet our Covid-19 Safety Requirements or may still not wish to attend for personal reasons. This is why we’ve also taken the extra steps to make sure that we can accommodate those community members as well.
For those who do not wish to attend or are unvaccinated, you’ll have a chance to fill out a deferral form. Once you fill out this form our team will automatically defer your memberships until all COVID-19 registration requirements have been lifted. Should your stance change or you receive a full vaccination treatment you will need to reach out to our support team to be removed from the list once added. Additionally by deferring your Membership through this method will disqualify you from receiving an AnimeNEXT Merch Store Coupon.
